5.  How do I read my billing summary?

The first section of the billing summary displays the customer number, customer name and billing address. The “Current Balance” displays the balance on the account during the chosen billing period. This does not reflect the payments received during that billing period.  The “As of” balance indicates the balance on the account during the chosen billing period and does reflect payments received during the billing period.

The second section of the billing summary displays the detail of each transaction during the chosen billing period.  This includes the date of the transaction, subscriber user name of the purchaser, client memo, our internal transaction memo, quantity and cost.  The “Transaction Memo” is used internally to look up more specific order details.  The “Client Memo” may be utilized at the time of purchase to enter billing comments when you make certain purchases such as an annual filing renewal or a bulk data List.  If no information is entered at the time of purchase, this field will match the “Transaction Memo” field.

The third section displays any payments applied to the account during the billing period and the fourth section indicates credit or debit memos manually keyed against your account during the billing period.

The final section summarizes the billing information and displays the total due.  If you have any questions regarding the balance, please contact us at 808-695-4624 (toll free 1-866-448-0725) or email subscriber@ehawaii.gov.
